i extended mine 3" in the centeer but the junts wer ziged zaged like a s so ther was more serfice area to weld and i used a peace of stock that was tihtly fited inside both peaces to make it more strong and for a safty if a weld broke the inside stock would hold the rere end insted of leting it...

if u hold the sparkplug wire and ground urself out should it lite u up good when u kick it over or are they weaker spark then most atvs of so then its a constent spark that is blue so i would guess its a ground or the coil
