ok. but what i mean about it running bad is can the bad crank seal affect how it runs?? Cause it smokes alot and only runs bad when i get on the throttle. That is when it starts to spray tranny oil...?

ok. And if the cases are not sealed properly then i just have to re-seal the cases?? And as far as running crappy, I think that the motor is sucking in tranny fluid from somewhere, thats why it is running crappy. It burning so much oil that it is spraying out of every possible opening...... I...

My LT is burning tranny oil so I figure it is a bad crank seal. It runs like crap right now. It almost seems like the jetting is too rich. So I bought a Seal Kit but would like to know if there is any other way it could be burning tranny oil. Any Sugestions?? Thanks

Well, I got the 250r. The only thing im having problems with is backfiring. When you pin it it will backfire alot but not die. It idles fine and if your going slow but as soon as you give it 1/2 - full throttle it sometimes backfires. What could that be??? running lean??

yeah the motor is the same year. It is a big bore. He said that he didnt put that motor in because he wanted to keep the machine as stock as possible...... it also comes with a second carb, swing arm, original shocks, original manuals, heal guards, nerf bars, set of tires, original wheels...

I know they dont have a powervalve but they still got to be just as nice as the 87-92???? Its $1500. I think thats a good deal on a bike that comes with a complete 2nd motor????? I just want to know how fast and reliable they are?

I have to do a top end job on my 01 blaster. What is a good piston to buy for it. The machine is pretty much stock with a DG exhaust kit. just curious what are good ones and bad ones to buy. I plan on buying the whole top end kit with the piston. Thanks

Jets R Us has all the jets a guy would need for the blaster and all other quads on the market. That is where i get all my jets from

I will be rebuilding the top end in my quad and would like to know what size piston is needed. When I take the cylinder out and get it re-honned, will i need to go up a size in piston or leave it the same assuming that the cylinder is in good shape....... What would be the best thing to do??

Yeah my quad is at 90psi and it needs a top end i guess, I would have never known if i wouldnt have checked it with the compression tester, now i just hope i dont mess up the rebuild.....lol

yeah the motor is stock. I bought a good tester and it still reads 90 so it looks like im gonna have to buy a rings kit along with gaskets

ok. when i get the tester and actually works right, what is the proper psi?? 100-120 right?

im not sure if the top end has been rebuilt in the past, so what would be my safest bet on bore size and piston size?
