I used both the rear and front shocks and springs from a Scrambler to upgrade the Trailblazer. Worked great racing cross country. Rear should work on the boss but the fonts on the boss up to 2000 are smaller in diameter

Good machine only drawback on the older ones is the maintenance on the forward chains. People tend to forget them. Is it a 400 2 stroke or a 500 4 stroke? I have owned a raced both Grand National xc and AWRCS xc. Lots of power and will go anywhere with it's 4wd.

If it is 2wd the shifter mounts on the frame below the tank. A connecting rod goes back to a lever on the top of the trans

Check the wire going to the switch splice together at the really nice terminal panel Polaris gives you. It should operate with the engine stop switch on the handle bar

I am quite experienced with these machines. Owned 7 rebuilt 9 Raced them an a Magnum 425. Here's the problem. Rebuilt a motor in a machine I've never heard run. Starts with the pull starter but doesn't want to settle down to an idle. I've been thru the carb replaced the throttle cable checked...
