yes you need to rejet the carb, u should have done this already with the k&n filter and when you took the airbox lid off and i hope you dont ride in dusty areas or sand, because k&n filters are bad for letting fine dust through. so rejet and you should be good to go, do a plug chop to be sure.

you dont think that ill need to drop the clip?

if i remove my air box lid should i change jet or drop needle clip?

could anybody point me to a thread that, tells me how to replace crank seals or give me advice.

i found it, it was an airleak.

my main problem now is, whether or no their is a crank seal and if i need to replace it.

ok this is rite next to the sprocket you cant see it unless the stator cover is off, because the part of the stator cover that extends over the sprocket is covering it.

yeah, but if their is a crank seal it should stop it from entering the case

yeah its perdectly shaped, and the yamaha site shoes the plug 4 it on the website.

listen to this and let me know what you think, have you guys ever noticed the rubber plugs between the stator cover and crank case? well the one next to my sprocket is gone(have no clue) and iv been trying to figure out why my blaster would rev high when tooken off choke. if i put my finger...

i have tried this, why would it run fine on choke with an air leak? would the new filter throw the jetting off?

nvm i just realized that its suposed to be their, but theirs suposed to be a plug in it. could this be the source of my air leak?
