yea still having trouble with the blaster ii tried adjusting hte carb today but when i fired it up and let it sit it was spewing gas out of the muffler and onto my garage floor...what's up with that....and then when i let it run for a bit it in the higher rpms i sheared the woodrow key....agian...

i think when u get the head milled it raises your compression which = more power but you might have to run on race gas, it all depends on how much compression the motor makes after you get the head milled. if i am wrong some1 please correct me :D

from what i read in my blaster manual it calls out for 93 octane anyways, not cause of the reeds....i wish i had known that before i mixed my gas xD

omg the suzuki lt-r450 go with that, right out of the dealer ship it's +2 all around with a good suspension for jumping

i'd go for it 400ex's are imo the longest lasting most durable best trail quad out of the 400cc's if i had the money i'd get that, or the suzuki lt-r450 >:-)

the thing is i can't get my blaster to idle i would try this but whenever i kick it over and it starts it's already revving up pretty good so i have no clue what might be wrong, like i said i think it might be carb related cause when i shut it off i notice gas leaking out of the head pipe...

ah i gotta go with the thumb throttle no offense to any of the twist guys i just grew up riding a thumb throttle and i can't see myself ever switching, and plus how else are you suppose to give your thumb a good workout haha

ah dam i have no clue lol it came with the quad i think it looks like a keihin pwk carb but for the size i have no clue and easy way to check? ok now that i looked a bit better on the keihin website and the technical pdf or whatever it's called it looks like i have the 33-39mm but yea like...

like all i need is some1's opinion on what the problem is, it starts off revving pretty high and i don't just want to tear everything apart just to find out it's the idle screw like i said i don't think it's an air leak because it floods out when i kill it
