thanks for the clutch info. i am gonna order the 240 clutch kit since my quad has been bored 40 over. i may need to ask more questions when i get into it since this will be my first time putting a clutch in.

should i take the motor off the atv or can it be changed while it is still and the atv?

very nice. what type shocks are you running? i am about to upgrade mine and been thinkin of banshee shocks cause they will mount up to the stock a arms, but i heard the 400 EX or 450R shocks are better.

i have another question also. does anyone use the low ash semi synthetic lucas premix oil? i have been using klotz but it is hard to get where i live sometimes. i was thinking of using the lucas because it is easy to find here. any comments?

no i didn't meen i mixed it with the gas. i used it in the crankcase. i used klotz pre mix oil to mix with my gas.

yes, i premix my fuel. u used lucas 10W-40 motorcycle oil. I called a yamaha dealer and they said that would be fine.

I just bought a 97 blaster. I just put new boysen carbon fiber reeds in it and was wanting to change the oil. I have heard it takes 650 ml but is it the same amount or more for a blaster that has been bored 40 over? And is the Lucas 10W-40 motorcycle oil good to use?
