yz125 cdi?

ive heared that a yz125 cdi will give a blaster a higher rev limit, but i didnt think a blaster even had a rev limiter, it just simply revved to the motors ability controlled my air/fuel/compression/timing... anyone know the truth in all this? does it really help/add rpm limit?

dont believe everything you hear there is no rev limiter besides pipes and porting ,your stock CDI on your blaster would ~allow~ it rev to 20,000 rpms if it could do it and hold together .dont waste your money on an aftermarket cdi box

thanks flotek, btw i seen a pic of a cylinder you ported with 12 ports and it was bigger ports than the ct kit... is that just a normal port job or something extra ?

its something extra ...a 12 port stock jug actually and yes there is more port area than a ct sonic has. on the left is stock with my porting ... right is ct racings ported sonic jug
