Been snooping around this forum for a while and decided I should just sign up. Been riding since about '82 Got out of it for a for years and just got back into it in 2014 and have been going hard ever since. Scored a '95 blaster as a "barn find" for $200. oil change, new plug and poor man carb clean up and she fire right up. something int he drivetrain is seized up as it dies every time it goes into gear.

In the process of looking for parts for that Blaster I found a one owner clear '97 that we brought home for $800. adult owned and shop maintained! The blue on in the pics is the barn find and the yellow is the one owner blaster which my wifes has totally fallen in love with.

I'll pipe and jet the wifes along with the TORS delete but other than that it will stay stock.

The blue one...mine. Im not sure what I want to do with. I want to do the BBK on it since I am a bigger guy the CCs will help. Going to do a +4 swingarm and a Diamond J widening front end kit. Probably a Toomey exhaust. Want to build to have fun but part of me wants to build to ave it shiny.

a lot of people keep saying "oh its a kid's quad" yes Its not the largest but its one of the funnest! Plus if you roll with it it wont crush you! Its a common thing seeing 10yr olds racing these things here in AZ.

Welcome to the forum. You can skip the bbk and get a modded head and some aggressive porting. Better bang for your buck unless your hell-bent on a big bore kit. The Toomey exhaust will do you right too.

The only bad thing I've ever heard about the diamond j widening kit is that the tie rod extensions are weak. Longer tie rods can be found from ASR.

The fun thing with Blaster's is that you make them your own. They have tons of possibly. Build it how you want it and enjoy!

Great looking 86-87? 250sx is that yours too? Also some good looking blasters. Looks like your well on your way. And good job getting the wife in on the fun. I got my Girlfriend a quad and I can't get her to shift it. She just screams arround in second gear. I can't imagine adding a clutch to the equation.

Good eye most people assume its a 200 or 350X. Yeah its mine, It was a "back 40" type of find. sitting for years in the yard. rescued it a little over a year ago and have been slowly bringing her back to life. The pics show the progress from when I got her to just a few days ago in the pics above. The pic above from the trail was its shake down run. Now comes the detailing and last bit of applying the OEM decals and on the market she goes to finance MY blaster build and tweak the wifes blaster a bit.
