What year is my blaster?

Hi guys, I was wondering if there was any way to tell what year my blaster is? Thanks

Can you read the vin? <<< that will tell the year. or if you want a guestimate you can look at the headlight and or if it has hydraulic brakes or not. If it has the light inside the hood its 03 or newer if not than its earlier than o3. Vin will tell you the actual year.

what is that red piece hanging off the front of the engine? I don't see a pipe, or is that just the angle of the picture?

it looks like the pipe is off and he stuffed a shop rag in there

Murph is exactly right. It had an after market pipe and air filter he sold before I bought it. So I got the stock pipe and air filter with it in a box. Just haven't had a chance to work on it yet.
