I just got a Vito's +3 crank and was wondering if any one else has had one I just set the crank in one of the case half' s with no bearing it looks like it is going to clear but wondering if I should grind on it a little any way

I don't think the Vito's requires case clearancing. Maybe up near the cylinder area. Don't grind the crank! Only way to know for sure is to mock it up and turn it over.
We always grind a little off at the top corners. It's no fun getting the bottom end together just to have to tear them apart to grind clearance.
