too much compression???????

i have alot of compression i tested it and it was 140psi is that too much? its hard to kick over. and the piston is not hitting any thing or binding what should i do?

Too much compression will make your crank come apart and go BOOM! Assuming it hasn't been trued and welded.

LOL this is the first person to say i have tooo much compression ....LOL ahahhahahahahah dude theres some banshees pushing 180...on a fresh top end, upgraded crank and milled heads...just make sure you run high octane like AV gas or higher (like 102 and up)

I wouldn't listen to the last post, 140 is a great number for your blaster and you only need pump premium, Banshee's are liquid cooled so compression (heat) is easier to deal with.

i've got 178 psi compression and i run 92 oct. head design makes a huge differance.

mjstone you ever consider using a higher octane? That octane is a little low for the compression, imo.

175psi.....i run c16 i've found that advancing the timing in mine made a big difference
