Thinking of Parting out

Since I got a LTZ400 the blaster has been just sitting there and i never ride but a few times a month just to keep the gas flowing in it.

what you all think i could make out of it--
the motor may have 10 hrs on it since i rebuilt it.


- 240 CC Ported and polished by WildCard Racing ( Have Receipt )
- Head Re-Chambered by WildCard Racing ( Have Receipt )
- Power Pros Right Hand Exhaust
- V-Force Reeds
- 36mm PWK carb
- CFM Air Box with Uni Filter
- Mojave Front Shocks
- 250R Rear Shock
- Banshee Axle
- +4" extended Swing arm
- Pro-Aluminum Nerf / Heal Guards
- New Rear Kendra Klaw wheels / Tires
- All new bottom end seals / bearings
- Forged piston by Wossner ( Maybe 10 hrs on top end ) ( Have Receipt )
- Maier Front Race plastics
- DG Front Bupper
- Custom built rear grab bar

You might make more just selling it as a whole if you have a market for it. I don't see why you couldn't sell it for $1500 with the quality engine mods and it's fresh. I doubt you could part it out and get $1500 but that's just me.
 
Thats a nice blaster,I have seen it on Craigslist before...I wish I could afford to just buy it from you,right now.. Good luck with whatever you decide..

How much you think i can get for the Engine - if i can sell that first the rest will have to go in parts :)
 
Could you be more specific on the engine such as dome size, how much head is milled, compression it's running, type of porting, and any other little nit pick thing about it. It just helps buyers ease into a sale when they know EVERYTHING about it. Sell it like you were selling it to yourself. ;)

I'd be interested in it, but I'm selling the Blaster at the end of the year, so....I'm not interested. :D Wildcard seems to make nice engines though. Wossner piston is top notch too.

it is an aggressive trail Ported
it is a Sleeve Big bore
WildCard Did the work on 10/8/09
He did the bore/hone of the cylinder
he did the head modifacation.
24cc Dome - looks like it is on the bottom of the Head.

I will do a Compression Test tonight to see where it is sitting at.
Starts first kick.

I would start at $700-$800 for a running no problem motor professionally ported, BB. Most of us can't afford that much, but you could always seperate the top and bottom and get that much! I can see a perfectly good bottom with no problems going for $400-$500. and the top end with Piston for another 300-400 easy. That's half of what it would cost to have a builder sleeve and port, rechamber the head. JMO!


I would like to have second dibs on the rear shock!
