I have a bone stock 88 and i have never ran it in the winter but i am going to be running out on the lake alot this winter. i will go buy jets this weekend.

i was just wondering if some of you guys in colder states like mn, wi, mi, ND, etc.. could let me know what you are using for pilot and main jets. to give me a baseline to start with. again it is 100% stock and i will be riding in temps from +30F down to -10F
thanks

anyone run their blaster in winter (-10F to +30F)? what pilot and main are you running?
thanks

Yes stock everything except oil pump delete, I premix 32:1 sometimes 40:1 other times

The stock main jet 230 is very generous with the oil injection, but if you pre mix at 32:1 ( what a Blaster requires) you may consider bumping up the main one or two sizes.

Plug chop to confirm the change.

Do not change oil ratios because the amount of fuel in the mix is affected by the addition and subtraction of oil, stick with 32:1.

The pilot 32.5 should be ok, but you will need to reset the air screw as per specs for the colder weather.
