Spark plug chop

Wow! learn something new everyday. Being new the the 2-stroke world, and doing a bunch of read'n on here- I should probably buy and four pack of plugs. I never heard of this, But everyone seems to agree this is the way, I would of just looked at the plug without cutting it and probably been wrong. Now for a newb question, this goes for any blaster stock to modded?

so basically for a plug chop you need to waste a bunch of plugs to get it running right? i am going to have to try it cause i think i have too big of a main
