coming from a younger guy with bad feet, that looks like it would be painful as crap. i have sprained both ankles, broke my right ankle, arthritic toes, and a severe severe pain in the top of my right foot every now and then from braking the ankle 10 yrs ago.

hope you get better because foot pain makes life suck ass.
