I say there about the same. You don't get any real power advantage from silencers. There mainly to control sound.

FYI: Pipes work around an amount of back pressure.The silencer controls a good amount of that back pressure. Although you may think there just for sound this is not the case.Take your silencer off and see how slow it may get.
