hey heads up i just got a strange message from someone asking about a part i had for sale odd message and wording asking about useing e-mail instead this forum and sending a check for payment so watch out

Out of curiousity... were the PM's all like this?

I am interested in buying the *PART* you have placed for sale, and I would want to know about the present condition, as well as some detail about you. I expect this asap.

As for the payment, I would need you to get back in touch with the last asking price then if its considerable, we will get a check sent.

Would you please reply back to me at: Carlpollijnr@hotmail.com

I will be looking forward to hear from you soon.

Yours interestingly,
Carl

good eye, and lookin out for our brothers on here !!!!!

thats the same style writing/wording as alot of craigslist emails i've gotten in the past,

also beware of the ones that say "leaving for sea duty on a ship, i'll arrange pickup after payment is accepted"
