I've been looking into building a nice set up blaster, To get a new +4 swingarm and roundstyle carrier is almost $700, but to just get a stock style +4 swingarm it's only $250. It doesn't seem to me that the roundstyle carrier is worth $450 more but I was wondering what everyone else thought.

+4 round house blaster swingarm,$250.00. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-BLAS...ier-/371171358676?hash=item566b8977d4&vxp=mtr

I think this will work? NEW Banshee aftermarket aluminum round twin row bearing carrier $114.99. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Banshee...yle-/290836954753?hash=item43b73bbe81&vxp=mtr

I got a RECONDITIONED Blue Anodized 35mm Twin Row Carrier Kit, with new Twin Row Bearings and dust seals for $99. from http://www.jjandaracing.com/ look under GARAGE SALE!

Can anyone confirm if the banshee carrier will work? I have a dura blue blaster axle that I will be using.

Not sure if I'm going to use a skid plate or get a rotor and sprocket guard. IMO the guards look better and protect the same.

these are the guards I was talking about, more expensive but they look nice and weigh less. Not sure if they would work but if it's a banshee carrier it should bolt right on.

I have a 2003 blaster that has the hydro brake in the back, I was wondering how much I would have to modify one of the "garage sale" carriers to use the stock brake caliper

If you buy a swing arm shop swinger, they sugest a carrir to use in the same auction (35mm banshee), also you need to decide if you wany skid plate tabs or not. The brake mount supplied i believe for most are 03+ so make sure u order one for 88-02 or 03+ only diffrence being what triangular brake plate u recieve. Also when extending you need new front and rear sprocket and extended chain as well as extended brake line

Why do I need new sprockets?

You may be able to get away with a stock length line because the caliper ends up on top of the carrier with a roundhouse, whereas with stock, the caliper is behind the carrier. However, braided stainless lines are better than stock, so, you might want to mount everything up and then decide brake line length.

Most likely going to go braided for reliability and durability
