It is with sadness I write this post , Dick Clark at the age of 82 has died of a Massive Heart Attack . I can remember when I was a kid watching American Bandstand every Sunday and looking forward to it every week . Dick has Anchored the NYC New Years Eve ball drop since 1972 .
They say as you get older , the more you need the people you knew when you were young . I'm starting to realize they are right .
I can truly say that he made an impression on me at a young age that influenced my music taste and style as I grew up , and that along with everything else has made me the person I am today .
