reeds wont stop staying open

i was wondering if my reeds could get to where they dont sit flat against the reed cage, if i dont have the right size carb or jetting if so, then maybe i will get my fart blaster running i think im addicted to that 2 stroke sound lol lol . these reeds arent cheap even for plain yamaha reeds

ALSO will it hurt the blasty if the silencer is not on the pipe because i have a slightly bent frame peice that makes them not line up for sh*t. thanks

well reeds do become warped and that means its time for a replacement, but i doubt just having the wrong carb or jetting will do that to them alot of hard riding will and keeping it wide open all the time... also the silencer offers backpressure to the engine and on a 2 stroke back pressure is a good thing. so its not good to run it without the silencer.

yup get that silencer to fit on there


you can get boyesen power reeds for cheap, but until they come in, you can try to flip yours upside down
