rear break?!?!

turn the adjuster inside the caliper. that is how you fine tune it. it is hookedto a pushrod that pushes the pads. i had enough problems with my stock setup so i got hydros.

gas would work. brake cleaner is what i used. pick it up at any auto parts store. but tbh i started having the same issues with the brakes on my wife's quad. after rebuilding it 3 or 4 times and spending a good bit of riding time trying to keep it adjusted, i ordered a hydraulic conversion kit for $200.

good question. only trying it will tell. how worn are your pads? your adjuster may be maxed out. something that just popped into my head as i was typing is maybe the pad is jammed. perhaps a small rock or something got under it when you tried to apply it and forced it to twist a bit and jam in the cylinder.
