I just ordered a k&n air filter for my 2002 blaster, and I have a question for those of you that use a k&n air filter. Is it nessecary to re-jet the carb for the increased volume of air? Or can I just leave the carb as-is? My blaster is completely stock, aside from some bark busters.

Thank you.

are you taking the air lid off?
no, i plan on leaving the lid on, im replacing the filter because the stock filter is all tore up and its isnt being really held on by anything. i can just pull it off with no effort or loosening bolts. i just bought my blaster and wanted to buy a k&n for it before i checked the airbox anyways, now that ive checked, i really have a reason lol.

I was wondering about the k&n if it required a different jet with lid on , think ill be using my lid with snorkel removed and maybe the reed spacer i have not sure yet
