PM's don't work?

I tried to PM a member with a question I had and although I sent it, it doesn't show up in my sent box. I have not received a reply, which doesn't mean it didn't go thru obviously but since it doesn't show up in my sent folder I'm not sure.

Am I too new here for PM to work or something?

go into your "user cp" at the top left of each page, then find the "edit options"
in there you will see choosable options, be sure
"enable private messaging" and "save a copy of private messages" are checked
look thru the list, and decide how you want to handle different events on here.
like i do not want an email sent to me for every pm i get, my phone would never stop buzzing, LOL
so i uncheck "email notifications"

be sure to go to the bottom of the page and hit " save changes" when your done.
