Ordered new rings - break in required.

I ordered some new rings for my stock piston to get me by until I can convince the wife a new top end is a great idea. Do I need to "break it in" when I put them in?

yes you have to break in your new rings.

You should break it in to get the rings to expand and seal.. You should hone it as well for a good seal.
