I put 750mLs of 10w-40 oil in my case. I heard that the glass piece is only supposed to be half covered but mine seems to be completely covered. Anyone have any comments
make sure its on a flate surface. and why did you put 750ml in? even with a bottom end rebuild(so totaly empty) your only supposed to do 700ml. you do 650 if you just do a replace
you need to run your engine for about 30 sec to a min, then check the level again. then look. and it should be 3/4 up the window. also dont use 10w-40. it may be cheaper, bt sack up and buy some Bel Ray Gear Saver. You wont regret it.

Yea, I just bought a new motor that was rebuilt top to bottom and the guy i bought it from said to put 750 mL in it. And he told me 10w-30 or 10w-40, what weight should i run in it?
go to a motorcycle or atv shop and buy some Bel Ray Gear Saver 80W. It will say for 2 strokes. Thats what you want.Automotive oil is no good.
yeah defently no car oil, it will mess up your clutch. make sure its for quads/bikes. like other people are saying, bel-ray gear saver 80W90 is better than the 10W30. safer.
BelRay is good, REDLINE is better!, and yes you SHOULD! run "two stroke motor cycle transmission oil for WET clutches"!
