need yfz450 help!!

my yfz is getting way to much spark. if you hold the spark plug and coil about an inch from the frame and turn it over the spark will jump to the frame. if i give it gas it gets no spark whatsoever. :-/ need help and any info would be great.

Cdi...coil... Check these and see if they all turn out ok

i have already replaced the coil and cdi. it does the same thing. ugh very frustrating.

check your woodruff key

yup^ yfzs are bad for that if that still dont work i got a ignition an regulator you can have

what exactly is a woodruff key, and thanks for the input

check your regulator first

behind your flywheel it is the small key that locates and keeps your magneto in the same position. if its snapped, your timimg will be hugely out

yep. tried different plugs.. i'll check the regulator and woodruff key next..

my advise is get rid of it and get a 2stroke lol
