Hi all,
First time on here... I have a 2006 Blaster, it has a FMF Fatty exhaust header pipe and Turbine Core silencer. The thing is really loud which don't get me wrong i absolutely love it but... i recently moved to colorado and they are pretty strict on noise...
can i just buy a stock silencer and slap it on or do i have to go back to a stock head pipe also?
Is there anything i can do to the turbine core to make it quieter? Stuff a brillo pad/muffler packing down in there?
I hate to get rid of the damn thing but not sure i have a choice
Also - since i moved to a high elevation from about 1,500' to anywhere from 6,000' to 8,000' i know i have to go down in a jet size or two... especially since the thing has been jetted at low elevation (not sure whats in there, the previous owner had installed everything). Any tips? just buy a few and go out and try them through trial and error?
Anyone else out there running at high elevation?
Thanks!
