Need jetting help fast

I have a 260 ok n mine only mod fmf plug chop looked good doing one tomorrow will post pics

I've personally jetted 3 different blasters with FMF's @ 1800'
and can assure you from personal experience, they require more fuel than a 260 can provide, even at this elevation.
here's my math............
FMF @ 260 @ < 1500' @ < summer temps = KOR top end rebuild.

Ok I was just going off what a member told me when I first bought the FMF I am going to pickup a 280 tomorrow before I finish breaking in the new motor. Then I will plug chop.

thats just it, I may be wrong too....@ your elevation, temps, and that exact engine.
I just posted my personal jetting experiences with FMF's, not what i think i read somewhere.
nobody can tell you an exact jet, or exact formula for jetting.

thats why we have these threads...
http://www.blasterforum.com/threads/what-jets-are-you-using.28981/
http://www.blasterforum.com/threads/jetting-numbers-the-solution.17259/

so you can see what other people who have actual jetting experience with similar pipe/mods, and have reported what jets worked for them, then you determine a starting point for yourself from there.

let us know what how your plug chops go

I am glad I saw this. mine was running a 230 at almost 1800 ft. I have fmf fatty and boysen reeds with K&n style filter. I definitely need to buy some jets before I put it back together.
