motor oil on piston and in exhaust

yes transmission oil. just so you know tho is you go to yamaha and ask them for the proper oil for a yamaha blaster they will give you 20w30 yamalube 4 stroke motor oil.

yea they gave me that when i had my rm250 but everytime i ask for my blaster they type it in the computer and give me 20w30. im sure both lubricants are good quality coming from yamaha.

yup, its supposed to be better for the clutches, but back to your question i would also say the crank seal and that side shouldn't be too hard to change

just use some atf.......

imo...if a guy at the stealership needs to look up what kind of oil to use in the tranny of a blaster he should not be working there lol
