Hey guys :). I'm new to the forum. So I have a big problem with my 2006 stock Yamaha blaster. When I ride and the tank is full or half full it runs slow Boggs down when I press the throttle. Idles ok though. When it is almost out of gas It will be fast zip through gears and pop wheelies in 1st and second. Assuming that's how it is supposed to be. Does anyboady know what the problem is? Again it is a stock 2006 blaster.

is the fuel cap vent line kinked ?, open to free air ?
or one way valve in the cap may be bad, not allowing air into the tank as fuel drains out to the carb, causing a vapor lock.
simple way to test this is run with the fuel cap as loose as you can make it without falling off, this will allow air in around the cap to prevent the vapor lock.

fuel dribble out the overflow while sitting ? (sign of incorrect float height)

clean the carb: http://www.blasterforum.com/threads/how-to-clean-your-carbureutor.254/

air filter clean ?
check the reeds for cracks/breaks while you have the carb out
