What's goin on guys, just had a few questions about running a bigger carb ... I just wanted to know what I should expect to pay for a keihin pj 34mm carb ( used but in good condition ) ? Also I remember reading an old post talking about a specific carb being some what of a pain in the rear to jet, so I wanted to make sure that that's not the one ! I know I may not necessarily need a bigger carb, but I'm sure it could only help with my current mods and I plan on having more mods done this summer. Any feed back would be much appreciated, thanks !

just go used, new prolly isn't going to contain the jets you need anyway, including the wrong needle, you'll need a "DGH" for that

i paid like $65 for mine, i definately wouldn't pay over $100 used, or i'd just add the extra $ and get a 33/35 pwk.

Awesome thanks for the help/guidance brotha, I will definitely take you up on that offer for help with jetting as that carb is a whole new world to me ! Should have it tonight or tomorrow ... Also thanks to Sweeney and 89blaster for your input, I appreciate it.

No porting YET ! As of right now I only have the mods listed in my signature but I want to send my cylinder/jug to Ken this summer to get a port and polish ! And I'm thinkin about having my flywheel lightened as well, then ill definitely be pulling enough power to take advantage of the bigger carb.
