Since winter is dam near here and cold is becoming a constant how should i jet my carb for the air change should i be jetting richer??

Yes when the temps outside drop , you need to jet UP , and yes a new plug and doing a plug chop is your BEST solution to making sure you are jetted correctly. Take this bit of advice , get a notepad , and write down your settings , keep track of your winter temperatures and what your jetting is so you have a baseline of where you need to be . keeping detailed notes and also describing how the plug looks and even writing down when you do a compression test and you can track those numbers and it will really help you get the most out of your top end.
