idle screw with tors still on the carb but disconected

hello i have an 03 blaster that doesnt idle so i thought it was the tors crap soo i disconnected it and still no idle but runs fine other than that?? can i use an idle screw kit with the tors still on it or (without a carb cap kit)??

Did you disconnect everything correctly? There are a few TORS removal tutorials on here. If you miss one connection for disconnecting the TORS then the no idle would happen. Do a quick search and see what you can do.

yeah i did it al correctly and it didnt idle before i disconnected the tors so i dont know what to do clean the carb i guess..

Did you try to adjust the idle adjustment screw on the top of the tors?

If so does it change the idle speed any?

Could be broken inside the tors box
Theres a tread here about somebod who had this happen

yea i tried it before i disconnected the tors and it did nothing thats why i disconnected the tors

Try the cable adjustment at thumb throttle.

Yup methinks it is time for a clean, pay particular to the idle circuit and the #32.5 pilot jet.
