im getting ready 2 put a barnett clucth in my blaster.i have everthing ready but i read some where not 2 use car oil i had allready got some pennzoil synthetic 10-30 will this not work? town i live in our yamaha dealer kinda sucks and they said they did not carry the 10-30 no more like it was replaced with 20-50 so i hoped i would be better off going with 10 30 plz tell me if im wrong. n ty. ps today is my 1st day here i will put pics up soon

i wouldnt use penzoil either......i use amsoil 4 stroke oil.....its a lot thicker and works great
the only problem i ever seen with gear oil is when its cold out it gets real real thick i guess u just gotta warm her up alittle more

bigdblaster not trying to be a jerk....but all oil is like that.....not just gear oil....thats y u burn more gas when its colder out because its takes so long for everything to warm up like it should be....but thats the "great" thing about "cold weather"
u are a jerk lol playing but i know all oil does that but tell me 85w aint gonna take longer to warm up and break down compared to say 50w
