How to make sure gears engageing

I just did top and bottom end build woth seals and I was wandering how to make sure my gears are engageing ? Id hate to get it running and not move

When trying to select gears they must be moving.

You can then select the gears to see if they engage.

I got it together the forks where all moving fine i was moveing that stat around and it sounded like they where moving

You need to spin the shaft and make sure that it actually changes gear.
