How to install air filter?

Ok bought a blaster with no air filter and no guide . bought the plastic guide and bolt how is the air filter supposed to go on tje boot going to carb? Do i put the plastic guide in the filter then bolt on?Is the filter supposed to wrap around entire base of tje boot going to the carb?

Ok it just feels like its not making the best seal when i bolt ot on feels like its not completely closed, thanks harley

The bottom of filter goes under the cage and seals to air box/boot. A bit of grease on bottom of filter helps to seal it to the box/boot.

it should only go on one way,it is a bit of a pain sometimes.
definetly put cage on first then line up cage with plate.......
