How to flip front rims with disc brakes.

Luckily I seen the problem with the tire bead clearing the stem before I installed the stem. Trying to save people an extra WTF step in the project.

I was thinking this would be a better spot but on the out side of the rim looks like it would be a real tight fit.i would not risk installing the valve there because if your off center just a little, your screwed.

very good, rep for you! i never thought about blocking the old holes off with another valve. I always just assumed welding them closed was the only way.

By The Way....your accent is killing me!! :)

hahaha no no, just found them and thought id share!

MEANWHILE...Back with the rims.... what if you forget to tighten the valves on the inside of the tire? or ir they develop a leak?....I guess a auto face palm would be in order:)

guys. save yourselves a bunch of work and just install flush mount valve stems. you can get them on ebay.

How is it a bunch of work ? You still have to break the tire bead and pull the old stem to install the new one. With doing it my way,you don't have to struggle to air up the tires.
