How does one break a case like this?

Got an engine for 60 bucks, i doubt that is fixable so i'm going to need to find a new case on ebay.

have the hole welded shut and make a new drain plug on the weld or close by

its not the oem stock bolt either that might have not helped

Self tapping oversize automotive oil pan drain plug and they just jammed it in there. Jeez! Somebody needs their toolbox taken away from them. They're not smart enough to own tools.

Guy was like "hmm never seen that before" what did you never change your oil?

could have been a rock jam up in there from not running a full frame skid plate
