honda sealant engine cases?

whats a good sealant to seal bottom cases? it has to be baught at a honda shop im tearing it down this week and cant make it to the yamaha dealer

I think every engine builder around uses mega gray gasket sealant. The best thing for aircooled case halves is just a piece of string.

alright cool i always use yamabond but dont have any and the yamaha dealer is like an hour away, im replacing a blaster crank/rod this weekend

double check..it's been a long time but I think 3bond 1104 is the same as yamabound.

my local yamaha shop was out of crankcase sealer when i put in a new crank and bearings so i went to napa and talked to the machinist there. He suggested i use permatex Anaerobic Gasket Maker. It worked good for me and have had no leaks so far.

just get some honda bond.It will work just fine.Thats what i used and no leeks .
