HELP Chunks in the spark plug

ok i had my blaster rebuilt in april 2010 its been runnin fine. now i start finding little roundish balls of metal in the spark plug. Last time this happened it was knockin, chunks were magnetic, it was lower rod bearing. this time chunks are not magnetic. the jetting is perfect. im actually runnin rich. Wat could it be? im baffled and i dont want to blow it up again

sounds like detonation and those little balls are pieces of piston and/or cylinder head

blasters aren't for the faint hearted. they can be a real pain in the a$$ and if you don't have patience it is probably time for a four stoke.

i got the patience and i love two strokes cuz all my friends ride four strokes. but i rebuilt it in april and put maybe 20 hours on it, it shouldnt be doin this

detonation is caused by excessive heat or excessive timing. you really should pull the head and see if the top of the piston looks peppered up or not
