Grinding??

i finally got the blaster to fire off. i all of the sudden started getting spark agian i dont have a clue how. but i let it idle for about 15 min. then shut it off let it cool for a while and did it agian. well now when i try to crank it it sounds like a grinding noise and a whistleing noise. idk what it could be. it will not crank anymore. any help would be appreciated.

Sounds as if you lost a bearing somewhere.

i pulled the stator and the flywheel key is sheared will that make it make that noise?

LOL....umm, yeah it could. replace it, and try again!

might as well take a shot replacing that as if its the problem...cuz either way it needs replacing
