Good idea to paint my exhaust??

My exhaust is looking pretty nasty and was thinking about painting it or is it worth my time to do that or just bye a new one?

Scuff it up, clean it , shoot it with some automotive header paint.

it will chip and peel no doubt, i recommended thremal coating or high temp powder coat for a long lasting great finish

If you do the proper prep work and make sure it's super clean, it should last a long time. A lot depends on how good of a job you do with each step.

The BBQ paint will probably chip pretty easy

high temp powder will hold up to 1000* and will not chip and peel off like these so called "1200 degree" spray paints

i tried this on my ladys raptor and it all peeled off in the first 5 rides

Thanks for the input. The high heat powdercoat gave me an idea. Have my pipe red coming out the motor and have it fade into black.
