frame paint idea

so i have brush painted many parts with this rustoleum oil base paint

i was thinking pf getting a small foam roller and rolling it on my frame since it will be a lot more durable then rattle can, this paint smooths out to a nice finish almost like powder coat


thoughts????

Rustoleum, Ace rust stop, equipment enamel are considered "oil" based. I'd pick up a cheap spray gun. I'd get a good quality brush (10$) before foam roller. I did lots of parts on sons 'shee with brush Rustoleum, flows out good. Sprayed frame with rust stop. Unless it's going to be a trailer queen, why not?

Roller does not seem like it would work. I am going to have to try that brush on oil base though, sounds like good stuff!

I am actually in the middle of rhino lining my frame and it is coming out really nice they sell the diy kits ill post pics when its done
