Flywheel removal

I Read the threads on elec. Diag. The Stator did not pass. Was wondering about removing the flywheel and do I have to buy the whole assembly or just the coil pieces. Thanks for your help.
 
flywheel puller is needed 10bucks
and you could rebuild the source and lighting coil
if you are up to the job.
just do yourself a favor and dont cheap out on it..those generic cheap stators will not work on a blaster:)

Even if you have a lathe, it's not worth time to make, IMO. No clue on thread pitch, but it's LEFT handed fine thread.
Be sure to remove fat washer from flywheel and back center bolt almost all the way out before threading into F-wheel. Sometimes you have to smack the bolt after it's tightened.

Also, in checking coils, probe wire as close to coil as possible to rule out broken wire.
