Does anyone know what the compartment in the seat for a blaster is actually for ? I could never figure it out i put spark plugs and tools in there but does anyone know ?

yep, thats were the factory tool kit was, but some have speculated it was originally intended for a battery

I asked the local dealer the same question . He said that a rep told him that originally Yamaha was going to put a battery in that space in order to have turn signals .

It isnt a smart idea but you have to do what you have to do. In jersey you have to have title on you on your bike is being impounded. Actually theres a guy posting a ad on craigslist saying his banshee was stolen and the title was in there.
