Do these engine parts still look good?

I'm looking into rebuilding or buying a new stock engine for my 2005 Yamaha Blaster can we tell anything by my pictures??

now the wheel that on opposite side of the cranks is rusted is that natural or it needs to be cleaned or replaced??

The flywheel?? Yes should not be rusty! Everything else look as it should to me.

I don't know if it's just me but that jug looks a little jacked up under that one port. Kinda looks like a smal chunk out of the wall.

I did see that but just thought it was aluminum scuffing
maybe a crack!

To me, it looks like a crack from the bottom left of that one port going all the way down. I seen it when I zoomed in on the pic.

I think BD7 is on to something there, check that cylinder for scratches!

I think the cylinder should be bored at least. But as said, in second pic the "scratch" that goes from the bottom of the transfer port to the transfer tunnel. What did the piston look like? Did you do this or did you get it this way?
