This is a Thread I wanted to Share about Billet Frame Plugs. As some of you are aware the Plastic Caps in the back by the grab bar tend to fall out, most people around me don't even realize they exist or that they have a purpose. Well infact they do... and that purpose 1 is to close an open ended pipe, and 2 to keep dirt and water out of the frame which would cause the frame to FAIL. Now when you loose them, which I have lost many over the years but thanks to donner bikes have been able to keep replacing them, you find that its pretty hard to get ahold of these things other wise unless special order.
I am always out there looking for some more eye candy for my Blaster and have spent a long time looking at the bike to figure out what next. some have extra paint that need to be scrapped off, or weld burrs that need to be filed off. I prefer the glued method which I use liquid nails, you get a good seal, you know its in there and you can change them as needed or wanted, the glue is up to you. On choppers I know they use grip glue sometimes.
Currently in the process of Getting Anodized Colors
the following pictures are of the "SPIKED" "ROAD DOMED" and "FLUSH MOUNT" Styles more are going threw the works right now
