Was thinking about topping the ole honda off with some premix of 112 and 93, 32:1 of course, I was wondering what kind of rejet would I need, or would I need to at all?

i could be very wrong but.....
i believe higher octane burns cooler
thus were detonation/or spark knock they call it is occured by lower octane?
as far as re jetting...ahhhh dont know:D
and there is a whole thread saying octane dont matter..but there
has to be some additive in the higher octane that allows better performance
cuz it sure does work better???o_O
cars or whatever:)

If you have not got the compression required to run a high octane fuel ,then you can loose power because of the slower rate of burn.

Higher octane is not needed in a lower compression engine, it is just a waste.

Hondas HRC dept sent these general specs a while back.
Stated needed to CC the head and checking compression 1st.
CR........Octane
8.0 -8.5 / 87- 89
9.0-9.5 / 90- 91
10.0- 10.5 / 91- 93

I remember before race gas like VP, Sunoco, Union 76 was available, that some racers used to run Av Gas .Most did not realize that it contained anti-freeze and had many jetting problems with 2 strokes .
