clutch issue????

My 91' Blasty is making a strange noise after i start it. The chain is trying to engage and its having trouble shifting. Im assuming that its the clutch? Is it gone or froze? I live in VT and its been in the teens for the last few weeks. If it is the clutch, how hard is it to replace and is it pricey? thanks guys

Where in vermont do you live? Also have you tried adjusting your clutch?

I live in central Vermont. I have not tried adjusting the clutch. I dont know how.

Clutch adjustment, if the oil is cold it may grab. Make sure your jetting is ok for the outside Temp so you don't run it lean

could be frozen up, mine did something similar to that last week. Put it in heated shop and it worked fine. You must be up in the mountains to be in th teens, its been 40-50 degrees here, lost all the snow.

I live in Thetford. The weather lately has been warm but its in a barn at night so it gets really cold. When I pulled it out, there was frost on it
