So sorry to bother you guys over and over, but the previous owner didn't seem to know you have to adjust two bolts to adjust the chain, and one of the two is bent up, so I went to remove them and replace. So I get them almost all the way backed out and then it hits the spot where it puts pressure on to actually tighten it feels like I'm gonna be stripping something.

And blaaster I'm planning on replacing the chain and sprockets, but for now I'm just gonna file them down, haha. No I'm joking.

I sure hope so or I would have to come out there and smack your wrist!

If you doubt the bolts, replace them, they suffer a fair amount of punishment.

Well that't the issue, I go to back them out and right when it comes to the rounded part of the bolt that puts tension doesnt want to come out. Not trying to strip anything out.

the bolts thread into the stamped steel tensioner guide, not a nut.

i highly doubt a heli coil will repair thin stamped steel ?

the nut is to lock the bolt in place and should have been loosened before attempting to remove the bolt.

it is possible the threads are dirty, rusted, boogered up or the end mushroomed preventing it from unthreading the whole way.

try loosening the nut, then dig deeper :(
